All Levels Flow - Heated Vinyasa Yoga Classes

FAR Infrared Radiant Heat, Great Teachers, Great Music

Heated flow classes are designed to give you a great physical, mental and emotional workout. Choose how deep you want to go; each sequence offers you options to modify or amplify the poses to help you move past what you think you can and cannot do. Our skillful instructors will guide you through many variations to teach you to meet your edge with patience and Grace. These classes are are vigorous and fast paced and are not suitable for those brand new to yoga. We use our breath to determine how deep we go in the poses. If the breath quickens, becomes shallow or stops; we are working too hard and need to back off.

Our FAR infrared radiant heaters heat objects (You) like the sun! This type of heat is considered therapeutic. Here are some of the benefits:

• Improve blood circulation and skin complexion. Far-Infrared expands capillaries which stimulates increased
blood flow, regeneration, circulation and oxygen
• Strengthens cardiovascular system
• Improve detoxification
• Relaxation and pain/aches management

We also have an air exchange system in this room. The air is cleaned during the entire experience.

Mindful, alignment based classes designed to teach you proper alignment and form.

Flow Foundations and Yoga Flow Level 1-2 classes offer you an alignment based, mindful and safe yoga practice. These classes are suitable for those brand new to yoga and those who like a slower paced practice. We will focus key poses found in many classes and styles and offer modifications for how to meet the pose with the physical reality you have at that particular moment in time. Our studio is non-judgemental and non-dogmatic and is open to all ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies, rest when needed and know that showing up is the most important part. Conscious breath awareness comes next and we use the poses as a way to explore the body, mind and spirit.

Long Holds, Themed Classes

Yin yoga offers a wealth of benefits that may help you to alleviate pain and tension, relieve stress and anxiety, and improve your overall well-being.

The practice of holding a pose for an extended period teaches you to sit with and observe uncomfortable emotions, thoughts, or physical sensations as they arise. Yin yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and invigorating (yang) styles of yoga. Students hold a variety of poses for longer periods of time to get into connective tissue and fascia, helping to release tight spots in the body. These classes are themed to delve deep into specific areas of the body such as core, hips, back, neck and shoulders. While these are not 'fast paced' classes, they are not gentle either! Students are always encouraged to move at their own pace and take breaks and rest when needed.

Total-body toning and conditioning through anatomy-informed sequencing of simple, but precise ballet, Pilates, and yoga-inspired moves. The class focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements, designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can.

Mat Pilates and Pilates Fusion Classes

Our Mat Pilates classes develop and tone the body through muscular effort that stem from the core. Yoga Flow SF Pilates classes incorporate repetitive exercises performed on a mat to promote strength, stability, and flexibility. Classes also may include the use of pilates circle, pilates ball, resistance bands, and weights. 
Pilates is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on your core muscles, while also training your arms and legs. With core conditioning exercises students will learn how to contract muscles and to find spine, pelvis and shoulder stability. Our class will also assist in restoring correct alignment, balance, increasing flexibility, and strengthening the whole body. This class will also help the student cultivate awareness of the body and  support everyday movements that are efficient and graceful. Class method consists of low-impact flexibility,and muscular strength and endurance movements.

Gentle Yoga with Massage Therapy Balls

A Relaxing, Gentle Heated Yoga Experience

Gentle and classes are designed to nourish the body, mind and spirit and create ease in moving the body. These classes are great for a wide range of students including those with limited range of motion, those who have been sedentary for a while and want to start moving the body in a safe way and those who need a gentle, relaxing experience. Massage therapy balls are used to target and massage specific areas of the body to work out and release tense muscles.

Our heated room is installed with FAR Infrared heaters that are way different than regular forced air heaters. When the Far Infrared waves touch surfaces in a room, heat energy is released and so the ceiling, walls and floor of a room are heated. The far infrared heating units are incredibly effective at removing toxins, improving circulation, and relaxing the muscles. Far infrared heat penetrates 1.5 inches into the body reaching muscles and soft tissue to concentrate its therapeutic heating power to produce the following benefits: detoxification Mild cardio stimulation Burns calories Weight loss Increased heart rate Vasodilation Pain reduction Eases joint stiffness Decreases inflammation Alleviates stress Revitalization We also have an exhaust system in there that is pumping cool air in and sucking stale air out. We offer kids yoga class in conjunction with adult classes on Tuesday and Thursdays at 4:30pm. We aim to offer childcare 7 days a week but are not offering it at this time. We have a designated 640sf play space for kids to draw, imagine, do yoga, do crafts and more!
