One way that Sheridan can grow as an active community is to make sure it has up-to-date facilities for students and staff.

Sheridan Elementary School is a school with great facilities and student support programs.
Sheridan Elementary has many new, modern facilities including three classrooms for art, music, and physical education; a gymnasium with storage for sporting equipment; an outdoor learning area which includes a fruit orchard and native plant garden used to supplement the children’s studies in biology/science.
In addition, Sheridan offers students access to laptops, iPads, and SMARTboards throughout the school that are available anytime they have free time before or after classes. Around Sheridan, there is an abundance of green space where kids can run around freely while enjoying nature at its best. This kind of outside play has been proven beneficial for their health as well as their academic success. Sheridan has a very supportive student body with many community members involved in the school’s activities, including fundraisers and parent organizations.
Sheridan Elementary School is one of my favorite places to visit on weekends! I recommend this place for both locals and tourists looking to experience something new without leaving their city.
