Pleasant Hill is a city in the San Francisco Bay Area’s East Bay in Contra Costa County, California, United States. At the 2020 census, the population was 34,613. It was founded in the year 1961. College Park High School, Diablo Valley College, the Contra Costa County Library System’s Pleasant Hill Library, and the Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District are all located in Pleasant Hill.
Summers in this area is hot and dry, with no monthly average temperatures exceeding 71 degrees Fahrenheit (22 degrees Celsius). Pleasant Hill has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate, abbreviated “Csb” on climate maps, according to the Köppen Climate Classification system. Winter daytime temperatures are in the fifties and sixties, and summers are in the high seventies to upper eighties, occasionally reaching the low nineties. 3. Century 16 Downtown Pleasant Hill and XD | 125 Crescent Dr, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523, United States
This theater complex is part of the Century Theatres chain. The Century 16 Downtown Pleasant Hill and XD opened on September 19, 2004, and was built where a bowling alley had been (Bowling Alley). It has 10 theaters, with 3 screens in the main theater and 7 digital cinemas in an auxiliary building located behind it (XD Building). It has stadium seating but no IMAX. Each theater has a Dolby Digital digital surround sound system, but it is unknown what kind of auditorium configuration they have. Each theater in the main building are believed to have high backed rocker seats, while the auxiliary XD Auditoriums have traditional bucket seats.
