Create a Work/Life Balance For Employees
Corporate yoga allows the employees to stay at work and have the yoga class come to them! Most employees complain about being overworked and over-stressed. Most managers complain about needing more productivity from employees. Find a balance to this by teaching your employees how to relax and maintain optimal health by implementing an on-site corporate yoga program.
Our corporate yoga sessions are designed to do so much more than alleviate pain in the body due to sitting too long or from prolonged typing. From our yoga sessions, we help your employees build a stable physical and mental foundation through movement and meditation that brings balance to the body and mind. These classes are training sessions to help them learn to deal with stressful situations by maintaining a calm mind while doing a challenging pose. This helps them deal with stressful situations that effect them in any and all aspects of work and life.
The result? A clearer mind, and less affliction from stress. Stress is something that we all experience and it comes in many different forms. From doing a steady yoga practice, you and your team will learn how to control the breath and the mind, which helps slow down all other systems in the body. I'm sure you've heard of 'fight or flight'? Emotional or physical stress that stays around for weeks or months can weaken the immune system and cause high blood pressure, fatigue, depression, anxiety and even heart disease. In particular, too much epinephrine can be harmful to your heart. It can change the arteries and how their cells are able to regenerate. With yoga, your employees will learn how to breathe through hard, challenging poses. The beauty of the yoga program is that it's a safe environment that can work with different ability levels. Each person works to their own limits and the ability to keep their breath calm dictates to them how far they should go in the pose, or how long they can hold it. Learning to control the breath is the secret sauce to why yoga has been so popular for over 5,000 years and has a strong presence on every continent.
Why Companies Invest in Yoga for Their Employees
Yoga classes are a low-cost innovative solution for companies seeking to reduce healthcare expenses, alleviate workplace stress and promote employee well-being. Depending on the type of health insurance that your company has, you may even be able to take advantage of reduced annual premiums which can affect your bottom line.
Our expert instructors will teach your employees how to do yoga breathing. The goal is to keep the breath steady and even for every inhalation and every exhalation for every single pose. It sounds so simple but the effects are so incredibly profound. When the breath is 'asked' to be steady, it gives the mind 'something to do'. What's really happening is that your employee will get into the 'flow' or 'zone'. This is a state every professional athlete and artist experiences while they do their work. To become so completely absorbed and focused in the moment allows us to optimize peak performance. Focusing and aligning the body and mind brings it back to a state of balance and ease. It's not about how 'good' you are at the pose. It's about learning how to control the breath and mind while getting a strong and flexible body.
- Cultivate mental focus and clarity
- Promote physical fitness and health

On-site Yoga (at your office)
One of our highly-trained and insured teachers will come to your company and teach for 45 minutes to an hour in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Turn your break room or board room into a space for Vinyasa flow yoga or have peaceful meditation and breathing practices with one of our desk yoga classes. All employees will need is a change of clothes and a mat. Classes are structured to be appropriate for all levels of practitioners. The teacher will cover the basics in the beginning and as the class progress, the group will be instructed to move along with it as long as they can maintain a steady, even breath. Often the teacher will get the students into a pose and say, 'If this is challenging you, stay here, otherwise, do...' which allows for all levels to meet their needs. The classes are designed to be well rounded. The group will work on strength, flexiblity, balance; they will stretch their back, shoulders, wrists, neck and hips. They will strengthen their legs, glutes and biceps. Most important, they will learn how to stay calm no matter what comes their way!
