What Is Yoga Teacher Training?
Yoga teacher training is a practice that prepares yoga instructors to teach others how to do yoga. It includes learning about the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, asana (posture), pranayama (breathing practices), and meditation practices. Classes are provided in which you learn all aspects of teaching; including demonstrating poses, instructing students on different techniques for each pose – breathing exercises, the philosophy behind why these postures exist within yoga itself, working with individuals who have injuries, or special needs like pregnancy or obesity, etc.
Nowadays, there are many different yoga teacher training courses and schools to choose from. It can be a little overwhelming trying to decide which one is the best for you. So, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite yoga teacher training videos for you to watch. Check them out below!
